Eugene J. Frett has been practicing law for over twenty years, specializing in complex commercial litigation. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants, in both state and federal courts throughout the United States. Mr. Frett's cases have encompassed a wide range of intricate legal issues in a broad spectrum of subject areas, including contracts, partnerships, corporations, securities, patents, trademarks, copyrights, RICO, insurance coverage, the California Unfair Competition Law, the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, professional malpractice and the U.C.C. Mr. Frett received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University (B.A., summa cum laude, 1974), where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree from Northwestern University (J.D., cum laude, 1978), where he was a member of the Law Review, and elected Order of the Coif. Prior to joining Sperling & Slater, Mr. Frett was a Teaching Fellow at Stanford University Law School (1978-1979). Reported Cases:
