Eamon P. Kelly, Associate
Mr. Kelly joined Sperling & Slater as an associate in 2011, after three years as a litigation associate at Jenner & Block LLP.
Mr. Kelly represents plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of complex matters. Mr. Kelly has particular experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes, including D&O, Commercial Liability, Business Interruption and Boiler and Machinery matters. Mr. Kelly also teaches an insurance coverage litigation course at the University of Illinois College of Law.
Before attending law school, Mr. Kelly worked in state government, including service as the Chief of Staff for the Illinois State Board of Education. While in law school, Mr. Kelly served as the Managing Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review.
Mr. Kelly is active in the bar and community, including serving as the Vice President for Development of the Youth Organization Umbrella, Inc., a member of the University of Illinois College of Education Board of Visitors, and a member of the Young Professionals Board of the Chicago Bar Foundation.
