Mitchell H. Macknin Since graduating Order of the Coif from Northwestern University School of Law in 1978, Mitch Macknin has practiced exclusively in the area of complex business litigation. Mr. Macknin joined Sperling & Slater in 1980, where he was elected partner in 1985. He also has an Honors degree in Economics from Northwestern University (1975, cum laude).

Mr. Macknin's litigation practice is based on integrity, innovation, and success. His practice extends to virtually every aspect of the commercial world: securities, labor law, patents, bankruptcy, antitrust, television broadcasting and related FCC matters, copyrights, corporate finance, executive compensation, commercial real estate, class actions, stock appraisal rights, partnership dissolutions, insurance coverage, zoning, SEC investigations, franchise laws, business valuations, tax increment financing (TIF), stock registration and conversion rights, tender offers, and sports related matters.
